To have helped so many people to get free of emotional problems and enjoy life more gives me tremendous satisfaction. We are all unique and each of us has our gift to offer; it can just take some finding. Through this work, I have found mine. Sometimes we can only see clouds and times seem dark and grey. However, it is the clouds that are temporary; the sky is always blue behind the clouds.
I have been through those dark cloud times myself and I learned that prescription drugs and conventional counselling did not help me.
My work now is to seek out and master the therapy approaches that are practical, effective and help quickly and easily. There is a misconception that therapy has to be long, drawn-out and painful. This is just not true. People who come to me with a problem usually leave without it after just a handful of relaxing and illuminating sessions. Sometimes one is enough.

How do I help you? Well, I'm an EFT Master (one of only eleven in the UK) that means that I have passed a rigorous practical and written exam and am recognised to be at the forefront of the field. I am also a Human Givens therapist qualified at Level 3 and have certificates as a Hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitioner.
What matters more than certificates is that I have masses of good northern common sense inherited from my grandmother and a scientific mind and education - the gift of my mother. I'll listen, I won't use jargon. I won't go digging up the past unnecessarily and, like a taxi driver, I'll aim to use my knowledge to get you to where you want to go by the shortest possible route.
Appointments are in Ilkley on Thursdays. The earliest is 10am and the latest is 5pm.
